This is a directory, not a law firm

This site is an attorney directory and an information resource. Nothing on it is legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney–client relationship with us or with any listed firm. Listing a firm is not an endorsement or a recommendation. If you are facing foreclosure, deadlines are controlled by statute and court order; speak with a licensed attorney in your state.

Advertising disclosure

Basic profiles are free. The Featured Position is the paid placement and is labeled wherever it appears. The Featured Position is a paid placement available only to firms that satisfy published eligibility and verification requirements. Featured Positions are paid and are listed first. Otherwise firms are ordered by Google rating, then review count. Payment never changes a firm’s rating or verification record. The full rules are on the methodology page.

Privacy

  • What we collect. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used; it sets cookies and sends usage data to Google with your IP address shortened. Narrow my options: your answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us or to any firm unless you submit the request form at the end. Consultation requests sent from the homepage quiz results or from a county or firm profile form: your name, email, phone, property address and town, what you wrote, and the firms you selected. The attorney claim form and the contact form: name, contact details, and the matter or firm information you provide. The Send a question box on every page: your name, email, phone if you give it, the property ZIP code, the language you choose, your question and any dates you flag; it goes to the Foreclosure Attorney Hub team first. We may forward it to a Connecticut attorney in the directory whose practice covers the property's judicial district. The ZIP code you enter in the homepage search: the ZIP and the county it matched, with a random browser identifier and no personal details, used to see which areas people search. A record of clicks on “Contact this firm” buttons: the firm, county and page, with no personal data, used to show firms homeowner demand. Browsing requires no account and the site sets no advertising trackers.
  • What it is used for. Quiz answers produce your results on this site. A consultation request goes only to the firms you select, and only when you ask us to. A question sent through Send a Question to Attorneys goes to the Foreclosure Attorney Hub team first. We may forward it to a Connecticut attorney in the directory whose practice covers the property's judicial district. We forward them using the firm’s publicly listed contact details. Claim submissions are used to verify and build the firm’s profile. Contact messages are used to reply to you.
  • What we never do. We do not sell your information, and we do not receive any part of any legal fee.
  • Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s systems. We never see or store card numbers.
  • Removal. To have a submission deleted, use the contact form and we will remove it.

Accuracy and third-party information

Profiles are built from public business listings and Google reviews; unclaimed profiles are labeled as such and show only what appears in public sources. Court details are checked against official judicial-branch pages, and timeline figures are cited to their source. We correct errors when they are reported, but you should confirm any detail that a filing deadline depends on against the official source linked on the page.

Links to courts, statutes, and assistance programs point to official or nonprofit sources. We are not responsible for the content of external sites.
